ugg and his bike ....let the good times roll     uggys bike

I WAS BORN IN 1950 SO TO ME THE FIFTIES AND SIXTIES WERE A GREAT TIME TO GROW UP..
SCHOOL WAS A PLEASANT ENOUGH EXPERIENCE JUNIOR SCHOOL WAS 5 MINS WALK FROM HOME THEN LUCKILY SENIOR SCHOOL WAS EVEN NEARER.
THE LOCAL PARK WAS A GREAT PLACE FOR MESSING ABOUT AND EACH SUMMER A REAL CIRCUS WOULD STAY FOR A FEW WEEKS ..I MEAN REAL CIRCUS
COMPLETE WITH EVERY TYPE OF ANIMAL ..MODERN CIRCUS IS SHITE..

i remember being in a local scout group from age 10 to 14 (no names) even as a young lad i knew what was going on ..
the leader (akela) was gay (notice how i used gay to be polite) i could have said bent, queer, chuffer, uphill gardener, arse bandit, or any other derogatory term for them ....
but as i was never bothered by these people i will leave them alone .. i had a great time learning how to read maps and rough it in wales ..even a night hike ..
for a young lad this was great so no names as i enjoyed every moment ..how many youths today are doing the things i done  ?
how many can read a map and use a compass ? the thing is parents are not willing to place their kids in the charge of someone they dont know ..
paedophiles (kill every one of them) have crawled into every walk of life ..how do you know who lives next door ? the bloody do-gooders have fucked up the world ....
as usual the filthy perverts are allowed to live in our society ..let them live next door to the do-gooders and see how they like it ..
care in the community my arse keep the bastards locked up and well away from my kids and grand kids
.

i work for a large camping and leisure store in cheshire ..the early years were non stop 7 days a week ..
22 years later i still work for the same company and am happy to say i have enjoyed the experience traveling around the country..
doing shows and exhibitions and meeting many characters along the way..

great times were had when i joined a group of musicians in 1970 the group was moonshine and i spent 4 years doing clubs and pubs in the north west
i dont know where they are now ? lots of beer was supped as we had many staybacks after finishing the gigs.....

                                                       MY PA ..A FENDER SUNN

I spent a few years as a member of this country/pop band in the early seventies
i've not seen anything of the others for many years now ( that's me with the hat)
we played mostly in the north west as we were based in liverpool...
a good sound and plenty of bookings made for a good time with plenty of beer after each gig...
we also done a tour of the american bases in germany (more of that later)

if only i could re-create the same sound now i would be happy....
for many years commitments and family took centre stage,
if possible i hope this year to either form a band or join a band already on the road
i still have the gear and the voice and now i have the time to do what i've wanted to do for a long time and that's..
 to get back into gigging.

In the late 80s i done a bit in a band based in cheshire just to keep my hand in
since then i have parted from my family and took up with a younger model..
not long back i asked if she would mind if i was to go on the road again ..her reply was "of course you can"...
how many blokes have a girl who would let them go on the road without any fuss or jealousy problems ?
so here i am with my gear at the ready (just in case the oportunity arises to do it all again).....ugg
